Neville Godard Law Of Attraction

Neville Goddard law of attraction – Neville Godard was a law of attraction advocate through his belief that imagination creates reality. Watch the below video in which Neville Goddard talks about how someone’s thinking is the underlying process of creation of their reality.

Neville Goddard Law Of Attraction – Self Talking

As Neville Goddard is saying in this video, it is our own inner dialogue which has the largest impact on our lives. By learning how to change this internal dialogue, we can create a more pleasing life situation and experience. Many people don’t believe that it is their own inner dialogue which is causing so much difficulty and distress in their lives. They blame others and look to the outside for the cause of all their problems; when in fact it is their own thinking and reactions which are to blame.

Your outside life “echoes” your internal representation of what is going on mentally inside your head.

Neville Goddard – Speech

“Our inner conversations represent in various ways the world we live in. Our individual worlds are self revelations of our own inner speech…”We abandon ourselves through negative inner talking yet expect to retain command of life.”

“Our present mental conversations do not recede into the past as man believes; they advance into the future to confront us as wasted or invested words.”

This idea is not uncommon in the books on the topic of the law of attraction. (See law of attraction pdf). In Napoleon Hill’s book Think and Grow Rich, this same idea is shared. He talks about the subconscious mind being as a “fertile garden spot… in which weeds will grow in abundance, where seeds of a more desirable nature are not sewn therein.”

In this sentence in the chapter on autosuggestion, Hill is referring to the subconscious mind.

Neville Goddard Law Of Attraction – Communicating With The Unconscious Mind

“The events and relationships of life are your word made visible”.

“What we desire to see and hear without, we must see and hear within.” ,“For the whole manifested world goes to show us what use we have made of the word”. “If you practice this art of controlled inner speaking, you too will know what a thrill it is to be able to say .. now I have told you before it (has) come to pass, that when it (has) come to pass, you might believe.

Goddard is talking about a relationship with your own desire here. By knowing the outcome you want to create for yourself, and focusing on it intently, aligning your thinking as though it is real right now, you are communicating the ideas directly to your subconscious mind and therefore bringing it about in the real world.

This is no different to the ideas suggested in Rhonda Byrne’s book The Secret. The same concept also appears in many other books on the law of attraction:

Why Self Talk Is So Important

Self talk, as Napoleon Hill puts it, is “the agency of control through which an individual may voluntarily feed his subconscious mind on thoughts of a creative nature, or, by neglect, permit thoughts of a destructive nature to find their way into this rich garden of the mind”.

In the same vein, Neville Goddard talks about the relationship with the subconscious mind as a very important one, which ultimately determines the physical outcomes and circumstances of someones life. “We could no more stop talking to ourselves than we can stop eating and drinking” “all that we can do is control the nature and direction of our inner conversation”.

“Most of us are totally unaware of the fact that our inner conversations are the causes of the circumstances of our life. .. Mans thinking follows the tracks laid down in his own inner conversations” – Neville Goddard.

By controlling our thinking, or at least (in the first stage) beginning to observe our thinking, we can create space to allow a new dialogue to emerge.

“Speech is the image of mind, therefore to change his mind, he must change first his speech” – By speech is meant the internal mental conversations going on in the inner mind.

Neville Goddard Law Of Attraction – Summary

Neville Goddard shares how the main agency of control for the life you want to create is your inner dialogue. Change your dialogue by letting go of the old stories you tell yourself in your head. This is referred to as the “Old Man” in the Bible.

By becoming conscious of the thoughts you allow to remain in your conscious mind, you are better equipped to control them and direct your life.
