Manifesting abundance affirmations can be used to train your mind to focus on abundance rather than lack and scarcity. Most people have a least some grains of lack and limitation roaming around their unconscious minds. Ridding yourself of these limiting thoughts is a good first step towards a more happy and abundant life.
If a part of you doesn’t agree to your manifesting abundance affirmations, your results will reflect this. So, just repeating an affirmation might not work. If you don’t believe it, your conscious mind will reject the idea straight away.
Manifesting Abundance Affirmations
“Money comes easily and frequently”. “I am enough”. “Life is enjoyable”. “I love myself”.
Abundance or lack comes from your thinking. Whether you are aware of it or not, you are creating things in your life which relate to how you think. The problem many people have with the law of attraction, and why they claim the law of attraction does not work, is that they are using it in a backwards way.
“I’m not enough” for example is a belief which can create a huge amount of lack and limitation in your life. If you carry this limiting belief, you’ll create all sorts of problems and unpleasant circumstances which draw you back to this idea about yourself.
Manifesting abundance affirmations are opposite to many affirmations and mantras you may already be telling yourself. See also law of attraction money affirmations. Rooting out these negative ideas and beliefs from your unconscious mind can have a massive impact on your life. Unless you do this, simply repeating a positive affirmation could be like putting a band aid/plaster over a massive wound.
Manifesting Abundance Affirmations – Rooting Out Negative Belief
How do you feel about your life? What’s your current circumstance in terms of finances and relationships? Abundance isn’t just about creating wealth and money. It also means having loving relationships and a happy life. If you chase money to the detriment of all else in life, you’ll likely become pretty unhappy; even if you become very wealthy financially.
To find any limiting beliefs about money and lack, have a look at your reasons why you haven’t already created the life of your dreams. You’ll likely come up with some ideas:
“Life is difficult for me”, “I can’t seem to get ahead”, “I never feel like I’m enough”, “There’s something wrong with me”, “There’s never enough”, “I don’t deserve it” etc.
Write down some of your own reasons why you’re not happy and satisfied with your life exactly as it is in this very moment.
Why You’re Not Enough
You should have your list of negative ideas about you, money and your life in front of you. These are very likely running your life right now. Where did they come from? Why do you think this way? Our programming comes from some early life experiences and from years of mental programming.
Often, negative thoughts around the subject of money are not about money at all. They are about you and your ability to earn it, or the judgement you have about those who have, or don’t have money. Many of these judgements will have been taught to you by your parents or the people you were closest to growing up.
Using abundance affirmations “over the top” of your underlying belief system can have little impact. To create a greater impact it’s useful to understand how your programming is controlling you, and how to loosen its grip!
If somewhere deep inside you feel like “you’re never enough“, for example, there’s a deeper route to your problem than simply money. Weeding this out alone can have a massive impact. If you feel this way, chances are good that you will find situations and circumstances which “prove” this belief to yourself.
Flipping Your Negative, Limiting Beliefs
Once you have uncovered some of your negative ideas about yourself, money and life, you can begin to work on creating some specific “customised” mantras/affirmations which relate to you personally. For example, if you’ve uncovered a negative belief about money which states something like:
“I only need enough”, then you probably only create just enough to survive, not to be happy.
You need to change this belief and you can do so by first uncovering it and then by using a mantra which is opposed to this idea such as:
“I allow money to flow and grow in my life”, or “money comes easily and effortlessly” or “money comes in increasing amounts on a continuous basis”.
You’ve now flipped the limiting idea of “I only need enough” to a more abundant and more empowered way of thinking. Use your new mantra every day and repeat it over and over again.
Repeating New Mantras
Remember that you will have been repeating your old belief for years. So for the new idea to take root in your mind, you’ll need to repeat it many times over a long period of time.
If you have suffered years of poverty and have a scarcity mindset, it’ll take time to change your thoughts around money; particularly if you struggle to believe the new idea. So take the time to create a new mantra/affirmation which isn’t too far from what you believe.
For example, if your belief around money is that “rich people are greedy”, for example, you’ll struggle with the conflicting ideas. You want to have money, but if you believe rich people are greedy, you’ll find ways to remain poor. Otherwise, you’ll have a conflict internally.
A different belief might be “rich people are generous” or “Rich people donate to charities”. Find something you can use instead of your old negative belief.
Changing Your Paradigm
A paradigm is a belief system you hold, which creates your life. For example, if you believe that “money is the route of all evil”, how do you think this will play out in your life, knowing that your thoughts create things?
Thoughts by themselves aren’t very powerful. But over time thoughts become beliefs, attitudes and paradigms. They then control your behaviour. Getting to know yourself through meditation can help you uncover some of your limiting thoughts which are halting your progress towards abundance. See law of attraction meditation.
Using abundance affirmations can also help shift your internal dialogue and alter your beliefs. This takes time since it has probably taken you years to ingrain those beliefs which are holding you back. Here’s a few abundance affirmations which can help:
“Money comes easily and effortlessly”
“I love myself”
“I’m so happy and grateful now, money comes to me, in increasing amounts through multiple sources on a continuous basis.”
